Postdoctoral Fellowship 2027-2028

New York Anxiety Treatment (NYAT) offers a 12-month Postdoctoral Fellowship beginning Summer/Fall 2027, providing advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP) for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Anxiety Disorders. Fellows gain immersive clinical experience through individual and group therapy, participation in NYAT’s Exposure Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), and the three-day ERP Bootcamp.

FELLOWSHIP EXPERIENCE

Fellows will:

  • Conduct diagnostic assessments, create treatment plans, and coordinate care.

  • Deliver individual and group evidence-based therapy for OCD, anxiety, depression, and PTSD.

  • Provide in vivo ERP within NYAT’s Exposure Intensive Outpatient Program.

  • Participate in a three-day intensive ERP training.

  • Receive weekly individual and group supervision, participate in IOP team meetings, and attend bimonthly didactics.

  • Engage in research and supervision opportunities.

  • Work within NYAT’s hybrid model (in-person and telehealth).

ELIGIBILITY

Applicants must:

  • Hold a PhD or PsyD from an APA-accredited program.

  • Have completed an APA-accredited internship.

  • Possess a New York State Permit by the fellowship start date.

  • Demonstrate a solid foundation in evidence-based treatment.
