Out-of-Network Care

New York Anxiety Treatment (NYAT) is an out-of-network provider. We do not participate with insurance plans and do not bill insurance companies directly.

Payment for services is made directly to NYAT at the time of service.

Fees

Fees for individual therapy are based on the providing clinician’s degree, qualifications, and experience. Fees may vary depending on the clinician and type of service.

Please inquire regarding current fees for all services.

Insurance Reimbursement

Although NYAT does not bill insurance companies, we can provide itemized invoices (superbills) for your visits. You may submit these invoices to your insurance company to request reimbursement for out-of-network mental health benefits.

Your insurance plan determines whether you are eligible for reimbursement and how much your plan will cover. Reimbursement may depend on your deductible, coinsurance, out-of-network benefits, and other plan requirements.

We recommend contacting your insurance company before beginning treatment to confirm:

• Whether your plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits

• What are the out-of-network deductible and out-of-pocket maximum amounts

• What percentage of eligible services your plan reimburses

• Whether you need a referral or prior authorization

• How to submit an itemized invoice for reimbursement
